She runs a structured investment process, eliminating poor-fit deals early and clearly mapping the upside and risks of the strongest opportunities so the team can make fast decisions with conviction.

Ona began her career in Revenue Operations at an HR SaaS company operating across the UK, EU, and Australia. Working across finance, marketing, and sales, she leveraged data, systems and processes to drive repeatable revenue growth.

She broke into venture capital at an emerging London-based firm, where she focused on deal flow development, founder engagement, and fund positioning. She later joined Benue Capital, an early-stage syndicate mobilizing local and diaspora capital into Ugandan startups.

Ona went on to co-found Sati (Sourcing Africa to Invest), a research platform and consultancy supporting capital allocators in launching and running syndicates efficiently, while helping founders fundraise optimally.

Across Velocity and Sati, Ona operates at the intersection of research and diligence, directing capital toward founders positioned to build durable, category-defining companies.
